USER GUIDE FOR PRINTING
CREATION OF YOUR ACCOUNT
Purpose : This stage allows you to create your confidential space on the site. You will be the only person able to access it. You must retain and avoid losing or forgetting your identifying data (user name and password). You must not divulge them.
Duration : 3 minutes
Required elements : None
This stage is free.
At the end of the stage, your account will be created: you can then create a file.
CREATION OF A FOLDER
Purpose : This stage allows you to describe the circumstances of the disappearance of the sought work or works. It will allow you to create many folders to manage multiple thefts of which you have been a victim (for example, in 1998 in your apartment and in 1985 in your vacation house). It allows the police and insurance companies to manage several different folders.
Duration : 2 minutes
Necessary elements : None
This stage is free.
At the end of the stage, your folder will be created: you may then register one or more items.
REGISTER AN ITEM
Purpose : This stage allows you to describe the sought item. It allows you to offer rewards and import photographs of the item (maximum of 5).
Duration : 4 minutes
Recommended but not required elements : Digital photographs of the object or scanned photographs (jpg format). Later, you may always change, delete, or add photographs.
This stage is free.
At the end of the stage, the object will be created: You can then indicate its possible bibliographic references.
REGISTER THE BIBLIOGRAPHIC REFERENCES OF THE ITEM
Purpose : This stage will allow you to enter the bibliographic references of the sought work. If the work has been the subject of many publications, it is advisable to show all of them: They will make the work even harder to trade.
This stage involves two levels:
A) Choose a book: It refers to the entry of the description of the bibliographic document (example: "ZERVOS Christian, Picasso œuvres 1920 1926, Editions Cahiers d’Art, Paris, 1926" or also "12/04/1995, 20h, London, Christie’s, Modern Art, N°1542").
B) Show the bibliographic references: It refers to the entry of the identification of the work in the bibliographic document (example: The work is listed under No. XX and reproduced in a color photograph on page YY).
If you have any photographs of the pages of the bibliographic document (cover page, first pages, pages with the reproduction or description of the sought work), you may import them.
NB : This stage is more complex: If you do not have all of the information, you may complete it later. In case of difficulty, contact us by email.
Required elements : The description of the bibliographic documents and the references of the sought work in these documents.

BASKET
Purpose : This stage will allow you to select the items you wish to publish on the site and to choose the period of publication for each one.
Duration : 2 minutes
Required elements : None
This stage is free.
At the end of this stage, your basket will be filled with the objects you desire to publish on the site: You can then pay for the publishing of your information.
PAIEMENT
Purpose : This stage will allow you to publicize your information on the site and make it available to all persons.
This stage is free.
Required elements : A credit card.
At the end of this stage, your object will be visible to all site visitors.
